The airport bus is the cheapest way from Granada Airport (GRX) into the city, about 15 km away. It is timed around flight arrivals and departures and runs to the centre, making a handful of stops on the way.
The airport bus

The bus connects the terminal with central Granada — stopping at convenient points such as the bus station, Gran Vía and near the cathedral — and takes roughly 45 minutes, a little longer than a taxi because of the stops. Buy your ticket from the driver, and allow extra time at busy periods. Because it runs to the flight schedule rather than a frequent timetable, check the current times before relying on it for a tight connection.
Hotel shuttles
Some hotels — especially larger ones and those near the Sierra Nevada — offer their own shuttle or can arrange a pick-up. Check when you book whether a shuttle is included and what it costs.
Bus vs other options
- Cheapest: the airport bus, if your timing fits its schedule.
- Fastest / door to door: a taxi or private transfer (~20–30 min).
- Most flexible: a hire car, handy for the Sierra Nevada and the coast.
